Every pound you give will be doubled – up to £100,000
Independent research commissioned by us – On The Edge, concluded that the perception of Richmond as a wealthy place masks high levels of need.
We believe that people in our area want to help others in their local community. Everyone can give. It might be helping a neighbour, giving your valuable time and expertise to a charity, giving a donation, a business offering space and facilities to a charity.
We will work with others to unlock additional significant resources, improve opportunities and change lives, and create a borough in which everyone can thrive.
Our initial priority has been to research the needs of young people in our area, working with the young people themselves, so that we can address those needs. However, the outbreak of the coronavirus has delayed the completion of some of this work.
The coronavirus crisis has had a huge impact on so many lives, particularly the most vulnerable in our area: isolated elderly people, those caring for a loved one, children with disabilities, families struggling financially and those already coping with poor mental health.
Our local charities are under increasing pressure due to the loss of income through Covid-19 and yet face an increased demand for services.
With your help, we want to sustain vital projects and services most affected by loss of income during the pandemic, supporting the most vulnerable in our community. Please help us today.
